You know something's big when it ends up on Yahoo's front page. My little malformed retarded baby is all grown up.

''Within two minutes, I'm like, 'Okay, this is my favorite thing I've ever seen.' I've watched it over and over and over. Rudd also showed the film to Veronica Marscreator Rob Thomas, who in turn recommended it to the show's star, Kristen Bell. In one example, during a May 2007 episode of the show, a character mentions ''the new Rocky Horror,'' where ''people throw plastic spoons at the screen.''

No idea how I missed that reference.

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

I finally watched this from Netflix today. Hilarious.

Watching the guys play catch with four of them in a 12 foot space was hysterical

Now, I'm off to see if they are still selling autographed copies on his website

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

The Room is most definitely the best "Worst Film of All Time". Hands down.

The Room was great, but I still give the best worst movie title to Troll 2 hands down

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

The paper I work for is looking to set up a midnight screening of this in Tampa.
Any Bay area 'Room' fans interested in throwing spoons?

I'm also getting to interview Tommy personally. Should be interesting to say the least!

I know! I'm not sure what makes me more nervous. The idea of accidentally pissing him off or not understanding a word that comes out of his mouth.

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

I watched this two nights ago (and again last night with the RiffTrax audio).

So... really... is the kid's name Denny? Dinny? Danny? WTF?!

"I did not hit her! I didn't do it! I didn't hit her! I didn't! Oh, hi Mark!"
"Oh, hi Johnny!"

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

I had read about this in Entertainment Weekly over a year ago and finally got around to renting it last week. Wow, it as bad of a train wreck as descibed, actually worse.... words just can't do it justice. Amazingly terrible in so many ways (and funny because of it).

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

My interview with The Room's Tommy Wiseau did not disappoint.
Take a drink every time he says "long story short".

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

The Rifftrax for this one makes owning the DVD worth it. One of their better efforts though honestly it is shooting fish in a barrel with this disaster.

I didn't think they could make the movie any funnier. Love it.

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

I just saw this film and this is the best worst movie ever. There aren't enough words to describe this movie and Tommy Wisseau. Ed Wood is nothing compare to this dude. The fact that he thinks he has a masterpiece in his hands is what makes this more amusing.

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

You might want to see it on DVD first, because by now the midnight screening people have turned it into a Rocky Horror kind of experience, so you wouldn't be able to watch the movie without a bajillion comments shouted back to the screen.

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

this is playing at the E street tomorrow at 9 (with Tommy in attendance). It was originally set to just be 2 midnight showings on fri and sat, but the midnight showings ended up selling out in advance, so they added 12:20 and 12:40 am screenings both nights and one tomorrow at sun). And yes, i will prob bring some plastic spoons

Re: The Room (spoilers!)

man that was a great time. everyone threw spoons at the screen everytime the framed picture of the spoon shows up shit, most people there knew the words to the damn se errr LOVE scenes song. And Tommy is a trip. Someone brought a football for him to sign (and to play catch with). This is probably the only movie in history where a line such as "Lisa, I have breast cancer" gets a huge laugh.
