The Missing

How is "The Missing"? I was thrilled when I saw the trailer, looked interesting.

It's just now coming to European theaters...

It's not "The Hunted" all over, is it?

I thought it was quite good, if a little long. 3/4

Eh, just okay. Nothing really distinguishable about it. Enjoyed Cate Blanchett and Tommy Lee Jones. But I would wait for the DVD.

It's quite weird, a definite departure from most Ron Howard films. Overall, it took me a while to get into it but once I was I became hooked. However, it is kind of slow and again very strange, but it was good. I'd give it 3/4, too.

If your a fan of westerns you'll probably like it. I enjoyed it quite
a bit.

It was ok. It was even kinda mysterious and interesting in the beginning then it turned into a action adventure flick with a car chase...but with horses.

I enjoyed it. While it wasnt the best Lee Jones film it was worth seeing. I will probably pick it up on DVD next week.

I enjoyed it, the acting by Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett were outstanding. The surround sound was done very well and the cinemaography was absolutely gorgeous. Good flick, good story.

I watched this last night and was confused by the ending. Maybe someone can explain this for me.
Spoiler:
Why did the Indians run away when Cate Blanchett's character told them to leave and that the chief was dead? I realize that she was on higher ground, but the Indians knew who was with them (all the girls). I did not see why the Indians would simply run away when the chief was killed instead of trying to avenge his death. Or was the movie long enough already?

Tommy Lee Jones movies are hit or miss IMO, and this one wasn't high on my list of 'To See' films.
