Wonder Woman...who would you pick?

According to reports, both SMG & Charisma Carpenter want to be Wonder Woman. Since I LOATHE SMG, my obvious choice is Charisma.

'sides, Charisma's MUCH MUCH hotter...
BUFFY IS A WONDER WOMAN

Two stars of recently finished US series Buffy the Vampire Slayer are competing to become the new Wonder Woman.

Former Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar is top of the list to take the lead role in the remake of the 1970s cult classic, according to the Daily Star.

However Charisma Carpenter, who stars in Buffy spin-off Angel, could also land the role.

"Charisma is a strong contender and she's equally as sexy," a movie insider said.
and from TV Guide online
TVGO: Wait, you want to do the long-rumored Wonder Woman movie?

Carpenter: I am actively putting it out there that I want to do Lynda Carter. It's my mission to be Wonder Woman! My agent hasn't seen a script, but some studio needs to do it. She's beautiful, she fights, and I like the concept of an empowerment role. I've always been so passive on Angel, where they usually wouldn't let Cordelia do martial arts stunts. Charisma wants to kick ass and bust heads!

Definitely Charisma. I like SMG, but she seems too small and petite.

How about Rachel Bilson - she's already played Wonder Woman once.

Jennifer Connelly would be perfect for the role.

Good choice!

Sandra Bullock is not right for the part.
SMG is not right for any part.
No clue who Charisma Carpenter is.

I doubt this project will ever happen. For years now, this thing has been in development hell. I've heard tons of names attached too: Sandra Bullock, Mariah Carey, Courney Cox. Nothing has ever come to fruition.

I didn't know who the hell charisma carpenter was (still don't know who she is really), but looking at pictures of her - I say she'd make a good Wonder Woman - she's got great eyes for it. SMG makes me wanna throw up, so I hope it's not her. I actually heard she wants to stop acting for awhile cuz she wants to work on her marriage... hope she sticks to that.

Courtney Cox was the first actress that sprang to my mind.

If Zeta-Jones could go back to her body in Mask of Zorro, she'd be my pick.

Linda Carter. She still looks great, and since all the fight sequences will be CGI/stunt doubles anyhow, why not use her?

After all, it's Wonder Woman, not Wonder Girl or Wonder Chickie.

Neither.

SMG is way too anorexic and has Carpenter even been in a movie, let alone been the star of one? I know that's not really important but it would be to who ever is casting.

I would go with a Neve Campbell or even a Jordana Brewster.

If you're thinking of franchises, casting actresses over 30 is dicey. This is why I think Charisma doesn't fit the bill (I think she's a little flighty in persona). SMG is a horrible choice from a physical standpoint. The role calls for someone who looks like an amazon for one thing.

In my mind's eye, Wonder Woman has to be tall and athletic (not skinny!), since she is the Amazon Princess. Of course, tradition requires she be a brunette (dye works) and have a strikingly beautiful face.

Hmm...
