Reminder: The Public Enemy (James Cagney) 1/29, 1/30 at 2:30 am et on TCM
It basically airs this morning at 2:30 in the morning on TCM. This is the movie that made him a star and one of the very early gangster movies. Its also still not on dvd. I highly recommend this to people who is a fan of modern gangster movies, and also to people who want to see a pre code movie as well.

Also did anyone notice that the transfer looked restored? On the vhs (and laserdisc print) there were spots and speckles every where, and on this print, they were kept to a minimum. so maybe and hopefully, warner is prepping this for a dvd release sometime soon. this, little ceasar and angels with dirty faces, need to be released.
