Judging by his performance: Tough one between Wall Street & Falling Down, IMO

dcprules 01-26-04 03:20 AM

While he has made many a good film, why is The American President not on that poll? I love that movie, and I think it's easily one of his finest works. Though he is great in most of his films.

Trigger 01-26-04 04:06 AM

Falling Down - I didn't even have to think about it.

Star Wars Guy 01-26-04 07:14 AM

Wall Street without question.

joeydaninja 01-26-04 07:17 AM

I'm voting WOnderboys coz everybody should see that movie.

Tarnower 01-26-04 07:25 AM

"Fatal Attraction." Not only because it touched a nerve in the zeitgeist, and became a cultural phenomenon, but also because it's a helluva fine suspense drama.

B.A. 01-26-04 07:31 AM

Romancing the Stone

PalmerJoss 01-26-04 08:05 AM

My choice isn't so much a Michael Douglas movie as it is an ensemble movie, but I still feel that it is his best performance to date--Traffic.

bjh_18 01-26-04 08:35 AM

another vote for Traffic

movielib 01-26-04 08:36 AM

The War of the Roses - one of the most underrated movies around.

Daytripper 01-26-04 08:45 AM

"Adam at 6:00 a.m." !??

Supreme Sean 01-26-04 09:12 AM

Traffic

garolo 01-26-04 09:41 AM

He gave a chilling performance in Falling Down.

lisadoris 01-26-04 09:57 AM

I think Wall Street is his best performance but Romancing the Stone is my favorite film.

TIE: Falling Down and War of the Roses

Pants 01-26-04 11:34 AM

You know what?

None of those movies are really very good. I think MD is a bit overrated in that he hasn't stared in a single film that I would put in my personal top 100...or even 200.

Gcomeau 01-26-04 11:34 AM

Falling Down - As much of a serious movie it is, it has halarious moments. We need a SE of this ASAP.

LasVegasMichael 01-26-04 11:37 AM

No War of the Roses listings?

Shame...Shame....
