Hand it to the Brits to not only to produce one of the best movie magazine on the planet - Empire, but to then to feature an article on the Trilogy and "Retun of the King" production. The magazine and a supplement glossy magazine entitled 'The Lord of the Rings - A Celebration' (featuring pics of all the main actors and mini interveiws) all combined by a outer cardboard slipcase with the One Ring on the cover is a real beaut. Picked up my copy at Borders, grab a copy before they sell out.

i saw this when I was in London. I sneaked a peek inside, and didn't really find it interesting enough to justify the 3 pounds. It is a must for the completist I guess....

The british magazine "Living History" on the other hand, has an interesting article on Anglo-Saxon influences on Middle Earth (but nothing that is not available in the article's author's book "The Real Middle Earth")

Thank goodness. From the thread title I thought you were saying that this magazine is reporting the ROTK special edition (dvd) wouldn't be out until January of '05.
