2001 ( When I was 11, I remember vividly saying to my father, while in the theater, "Dad, what is that smell?")
Grateful Dawg
Monty Python & the Holy Grail *
Meaning of Life *
Up in Smoke
Tommy
Yellow Submarine
Any Pokemon movie.

* = you don't have to be high but it sure enhances the movie experience.

All time classic..excellent in it's own right...but appreciation greatly increased under the influence of medicinal herbs/alcohol

given Titanic's running time of 194 minutes I think I would more than likely pass out by the second hour.

The Beatles.......

Magical Mystery Tour

The dream sequence where John Lennon keeps piling spaghetti onto that fat woman at the restaurant.....if there were any doubts that the Fab Four were on something during their 'experimental' period then this movie shattered them with a vengeance. This and Yellow Submarine play like acid trips with the beatles as the soundtrack.

If you have a beer buzz and don't sweat plot, anything produced by Jerry Bruckheimer fits the bill IMO.

Blader Runner is a good one, as is Clockwork Orange.

Definately The Wall. A sober person couldn't praise that thing.

Terrible examples--if it was the wrong drugs, you'd probably want to kill yourself after watching those!

I had mushrooms before the first time watching The Wall; it was too much, afterwards, I just had to go home to my room. If I'd watched all three of those, I think that would've done me in (on a positive note, I never took mushrooms again after that).

Psychos in Love

I saw that one under an influence, and thought it was great. Rented it a few years later sober, and it sucked so bad.

You can't cuss or diss other members if you're not a super duper member who's been here for ages, but you can talk about getting high or drunk... hmmm...

Right and my answer to the question would have to be all the movies people like, especially the AFI top 100 and the academy award winners.

But seriously, what's the point of this thread? To jack up post counts?

BTW, if you're puzzled, I'm both stoned and wasted.

Fight Club? Thats a really well liked movie. I doubt everyone who saw it and really liked it was drunk or high.
