Washington DC's AFI Silver Theatre will also showcase the 70mm print of "Playtime" next month. AFI's December's screening of "Mad World" was incredible!

I have already planned to go see Sleeping Beauty. Not every day you get the chance to see the 70mm print. :D

on a side note, The Revolution will not be televised is playing all this month on friday-sunday. Well worth a look.

I've got my tickets for Playtime and Sleeping Beauty. How I love the Cinematheque.

AFI's Silver Theatre is amazing! especially the main large screen -Dolby Digital THX approved sound. 70mm, DLP equipped. Gorgeous restoration and state of the art presentation, you got to check it out. Screen 2 is medium size, Screen 3 is the smallest but all auditoriums feature Digital sound systems. Screen 2 and 3 are both outfitted with stadium seating.

Saw Bubba Ho-Tep, Battle of Algeirs and Japanese Story at the E Street Cinemas - auditoriums tend to be on the small size and the screens where I saw Algeirs and Japanese Story did not have stadium seating - excellent sitelines though. I think there are at least two auditoriums with stadium seating.

Well, just as long as you didn't replace it with a frame of a penis.
