Recommend me Some Cheesy, Violent Martial Arts DVD's
I was watching satellite last night and caught some of this wicked cheesy martial arts flick about a blind guy hell bent on killing a one-armed fighter with a weapon that decapitates.
Funny, cheesy, violent and terrible english dubs.
Gimme some suggestions!
Thanks!

It sounds like you saw Master of the Flying Guillotine. That's a good disc to pick up. You will also enjoy The Story of Ricky if you're looking for cheesy, violent martial arts movies.

Like D-Ball said, it certainly sounds like you watched "Master of the Flying Guillotine"; there was a Guru-type guy with extendable hands, right? The film certainly seemed to be a source of inspiration for a lot of the Street Fighter-style video games.
I'm not really well-versed when it comes to Martial Arts films but maybe Duel to the Death (1982) (< link to John Wallis' DVDTalk review of the Tai Seng DVD release). It was recently released on DVD by Fox and can be found for less than $10 (I've read that Target is selling it for $5.99).
If you want to try Samurai films maybe try the "Lone Wolf and Cub" series (6 films) in the near future (DVD's are a bit tough to find right now and somewhat pricey); I haven't seen them so I don't know if they match what you are looking for in being "funny, cheesy" but they do appear to be violent.
Or maybe the "Zatoichi" series of 26 films (more readily available on DVD than the Lone Wolf series right now) about a blind Samurai. There is even an episode where he fights a one-armed swordsman. But again, I don't think I can describe the Zatoichi series as "cheesy" and from what I've read the Lone Wolf series is far more violent. I think MiramAXE is releasing a new Japanese re-make version of Zatoichi in U.S. theaters this coming Summer.

If they were on DVD, I would recommend "The Razor" series of films (check AnimEigo's website for info...)
A samurai dispenses justice to the men with his sword, and to the women with his "sword."

That's right, don't knock the Venoms !
By the way, Celestial Pictures just released a beautiful, restored widescreen Chinese language Region 3 DVD of The Five Venoms as part of their almost 800 Shaw Brothers releases---awesome.
