How many times have you done it?

Watched the extras on the Extended Editions. I've only saw them once. I think most of the material is kinda boring.

once so far... i have a decent memory, so I prolly wont have to watch them for another few years. They are some of the few extras that I actually watch.. usually all I care about is the film itself.

I've actually watched the doc. on Tolkien on FOTR twice. Everything else, once (save for 2 TTT commentaries I'll get to in the next few months).

Once or twice now. I've seen the Gollum doc at least three times.

I like revisiting some of the cinematography/music/sound/editing docs, cause that's the areas of movie making I find the most interesting.

I know I've seen the FOTR and TTT appendices at least twice. I like watching how the movie got made.

I've watched em a couple of times...I love the stuff about the armor and swords...that smith is like my hero!

gcribbs 01-02-04 12:34 PM

some of them once and some of them twice.

I well probably rewatch a bunch of them when ROTK comes out :)

Josh H 01-02-04 12:44 PM

I've only watched the first disc of extras on FOTR EE and all the extras on both theatrical cut discs.

I need to set aside some time to watch the other FOTR disc and both TTT discs.

I won't bother with the commentaries though as they've never interested me, especially with movies this long.

QuiGonJosh 01-02-04 03:00 PM

The Cast commentaries are frickin hilarious and the PJ and Writers ones are good too...hell its all good! :D

WillySi7 01-22-04 12:02 PM

ive never even watched a commentary until these movies came out.. and i love them. i think ive watched some segments of the extras 4 or 5 times.. probably because im interested in film itself (maybe a career somehow..) i think all of the extras are pretty fascinarting, and i wanted to know how much work is involved on a production of this size. makes you aprreciate the film itself much more, imo
