LOTR all extended dvd version marathon?

I really wanted to be part of the "triology"showing last night, but I was sick and no way would my parents really would have let me take the day off school for that. Thank god only a few more months till college....anyway,

What do you think the chances are of having a "triology" like showing of all the LOTR EE movies around this time next year are? I think they are pretty damn great. Fans will surely want this, and New Line will want to milk the LOTR for everything its worth.

HOpefully this can be done over a weekend this time!

Who would go if this happens? I know I would be there, as would my eventual blood clot in my ass.

This would be

Fellowship of the Ring EE

followed by

The Two TOwers EE

followed by

the rumored 4:15 minute cut of ROTK *or however long the EE turns out ot be)

...poor tushes

If something like this happened, I more than likely wouldn't participate. I'd much rather have my own personal marathon at home where there are no disturbances and I could pause it and go take a piss or get some food or something. Plus those theater chairs aren't the most comfortable things.

I missed this one because theater tickets sold out and as much as I prepared for it, couldn't get in. if it was offered again, I would do it in a heart beat. the main draw I would assume be that this will hit major cities more so then your typical remote theater in the middle of no where.
