Okay, I'm going to break down mine into on topic and off topic:

On Topic: Day-O from Beetlejuice, as lip-synched/danced by the Dietz family and company.

Off Topic (general music used in a film): House of the Rising Sun in Casino
Spoiler:
(used in the montage when pretty much everyone dies at the end. Not that a spoiler cover was really necessary, as all of these types of movies pretty much end this way anyway )

Cheating a bit here since it's a movie about a band, but...

The Commitments

... where the titular band perform "Try A Little Tenderness".

The whole scene is played to be the Commitments at their best, and it's a knockout rendition of the song. All the band gets into it, the audience is into it, and we all love the band as they all come together...
Spoiler:
sadly knowing that they're about to come apart.

Oh, she may be weareeeeaaaahhh....

Scratch that last pillock's answer.

The new favorite is the sweet little girl from In America singing "Desperado".

The first one that came to my mind was "Wise Up" from Magnolia. But I also gotta mention "Killing Me Softly" from About A Boy.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome - "The Kids", Marice Jiarre. (atleast I think that's the song). It's the most innocent, catchy tune I've ever heard. I'm quite fond of that tune.
