Not really, not too much reaction really... most of the boos came from that crappy commercial they show before for best buy that shows the submarine trying to be quiet in the water and a cell phone goes off.. The guys on the sub start saying it's from the audience and well it's just telling you not to use the cell phones lol

Hmm, wasnt as bad as I thought it would be with all of your reactions to the trailer.

Odie however is horrible, and should have been CGI as well.

Nope, it didn't even sound great on paper.

Will . . . not . . . EVER . . . happen. Bill Waterson doesn't "do" merchandising.

It looks decent enough to me, considering it's not animated.

This did seem rather bad...not the Garfield I remember from my childhood. But I'm hoping Bill Murray's voicing does wonders for the movie. And as far as teasers go...there have been bad teasers made for good movies, it happens.

I don't hold hope for that now, after seeing the teaser. It sounds like he phones it in. "You are such a suckup" ... That was the climax to the teaser. And it was lame.

Is it some sort of sign that we have both this AND another "Scooby Doo" coming out within months of each other? The End is near, my friends...

I can't wait for more crappy cartoons to become movies --

"B.C." starring Charlton Heston
"Cathy" starring Whoopi Goldberg
"Blondie" starring Johnny Knoxville and Jenny McCarthy
"Beetle Bailey" starring Ashton Kutchner

The mind boggles...

Ok before you all commit suicide you must remember that this is just a teaser trailer and, as unlikley as it might be, the movie might turn out ok.

Ya' hear that? Yeah...That's the sound of my childhood memories being shattered upon the cold barren ground, becoming only a countless number of lifeless slivers...forever tormenting me with their dull unyielding pain.

someone is a positive thinker... the scary part is that the trailer is supposed to get you excited about the movie and usually shows the really good parts

the garfield is made for kids and families.. not the older group 18-35 or whatever.. this is the same reaction about the star wars prequels.

Maybe they wanted to give Lucas a break. After all, as claimed in many posts, Lucas has apperantly been doing this for the last 16 years . . . I bet he's looking forward to the time off . . .
