Me neither. Looks like the trailer has been pulled.

In the 'properties' of the movie file does it have the original URL?... if it does, cut and paste it here.

Well, I've hated Garfield to start with, and that lazy-ass cliched cartoon and merchandising empire that's as far from real comic strips as you can get (has Jim Davis even TOUCHED a pen in the last 10 years?), so I already knew I was going to hate the movie. Man, it's fun to hate.

Garfield was great in the first few books. Then he got all cute and went to a place I call Merchandising Hell.

Worked fine for me!

Garfield just doesn't "look right". Probably because a flourescent orange cat is hard to do in real life.

Maybe I'm too attached to the cartoon...but Odie being a real dog is just not sitting well with me.

But if they can bring the humor of the strip and the cartoon along I'll give the movie a shot.

It wasn't pulled. I went to the original link and everything came up with no problem.

I went to IMDB for more details and saw

Joel Cohen (writer)

and did a spit take all over my monitor.

Then I realized the spelling.

I didn't expect much from the movie or trailer so it is no shock to me how uninterested I am right now.

I was a Garfield addict as a kid. I had a ton of books, figures, stuffed animals and other related items. If I still had them right now I think I'd burn them all in the street. Jim Davis needed a summer house or something I guess.

Was there a wave of groan's and boo's directed towards the screen?

I just watched the trailer. Nothing special at all. For kids maybe. They're attempting to make Garfield somewhat realistic. I'd prefer he still have the cartoon look like the last Rocky & Bullwinkle movie.
