I've seen both and this is a no-brainer. Depp owns Crowe.

I always liked the "Adventures of Captain Jack" comics that Fantagraphics released in the 80's. Sigh.

Jack Sparrow all the way. Maybe it's because I just don't like Russell Crowe, though.

Captain Jack Sparrow is one of the greatest movie characters of all time.

Master and Commander is the far better film, but Johnny Depp is so brilliant in an otherwise unremarkable film that he runs away with the win.

I would go gay for depp while crowe would prob' beat me. So I'll go with sparrow.

Gotta go with Billy Joel on this one as well.
