21 Grams Discussion (with spoilers)
 

This is more of a discussion if you've already seen the movie and want to discuss it without needing to tag everything. :) Or if you just don't care to find out what the movie is about.

Iñárritu has to be one of the best directors to be able to juggle so many different emotions throughout the film. The scenes with Christina (Naomi Watts) crying while first having sex with Paul (Sean Penn), Paul screaming out "I have your husband's heart!", Jack (Benicio Del Toro) cutting his Jesus tattoos... If you're not affected by this, I don't know what can affect you.

My only remaining gripe is the title. I like it, but the explanation that "everyone loses 21 grams when they die" is completely lost on me. I just don't know what the relevance is -- anyone help me out here?
