I didn't care much for the first film, but I laughed a bit at this trailer... it was cute.

Eh. It looks so-so. I dont think they should have made a sequel.

Meh. I didn't like the first movie, so I'm not expecting much from the second.

I love Shrek. Hope the second one is just as good. Anyone know when Shrek 2 is coming out in the theater?

I didn't care for the 1st, doubt I'll like the 2nd. The trailer looked ok, but not really funny.

The projected date is for May 2004.

May 2004 along with Spider-Man 2 and Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban I believe.

Big fan of the first film but I've watched this new trailer a few times and I'm not impressed. I just think it's a poorly cut trailer.

I hated the first Cat In The Hat teaser but I thought the new trailer was great. I won't pass too much judgment on Shrek 2 until I see and hear a bit more about it.

When the first Shrek trailer came out a few years ago I thought that it looked terrible. The jokes weren't that funny and it didn't seem interesting, but after I saw the movie I loved it. Hopefully it goes the same way this time.

It will be a fight for number one between HP and SM (it goes to whomever has the most fierce advertising campaign) but either way, I predict a number three slot for Shrek 2. I liked the first one, but really see no reason we need a sequel. Didn't Dreamworks learn anything from Disney? You don't make sequels of your most beloved movies!!!

Toy Story 2 made a bundle of money and was just as good as the first.

I dont own the first on DVD, guess i should pick it up.

This one look technically very good, hopefully it has a better story this time around.

As long as you treat the sequel with the same respect as the first film then you will do OK (just like Pixar done with Toy Story 2). Disney just seem to churn out any old crap and slap a part 2 on it (isnt there soon to be a Lion King 1 1/2 ?)

I was talking about Disney's sequels, not Pixar. Please don't place Toy Story 2 in with the same category of crap Disney makes on their own with their own sequels.
