watched Matrix Reloaded for a 2nd time.

I just rewatched Matrix Reloaded on dvd. When I first saw it in the theatre I thought it kinda sucked.

Watching it a second time I actually liked it.

It still had its problems (the rave scene and everything going in slow motion just so you can see how cool it is). The good did outshine the bad. I hated the ending in the theatre but thought it was not so bad on a second viewing (maybee cause 3 is so close)

Now I'm looking forward to Revolutions.

i'm still waiting for my Reloaded copy from Deep Discount. It shipped 10/23, wtf?! it's never taken this long.

I watched it last night again (3rd time). When i saw it the first time, what bugged me was the CGI. Other than that, I felt the same way most people felt. WTF? But then my company paid for us to go see it at the IMAX, so i couldn't turn that down. Let me tell you, even if you don't like Reloaded, seeing it in the IMAX is breath taking. Way better than SW:AOTC.

After watching it again last night, I appreicated it a lot more. I could pause, rewind and listen to parts again to grasp it better. I'm very excited to see Revolutions tonight.

I have to agree. It was phenomenal.

And it really accentuates everyone facial blemishes. I never realized how moonlike Fishburne's face is. :yack:

I only saw Reloaded on IMAX, and thought it was a terrible movie. Always thought maybe I would have liked it more if I'd seen it on a regular movie screen.

I've seen it a bunch of times on DVD now (thank the lawd for the ff button) and I've grown to accept, if not love it.

And hey, that freeway chase kicks ass.

I just watch both the first 2 occasionally to see the incredible ability of Reeves to act with no facial expression. You can't teach that! And it does make it easier to transfer him into CG.

Well I liked it then and I like it now. I don't know why people have such a problem with Reloaded.

Me neither. People hold up the first movie like it had so much thought/philosphy behind it, but IIRC people said it was just a dumbed-down Dark City.

I don't understand why people dislike Reloaded but love LOTR.

I'm among those who *loved* the first movie, but I've never heard anyone say they loved it because of its depth or philosophy. It was the unfolding of a fascinating story, the excitement, the sense of urgency that made it great. Too bad it was a fluke.
One reason RELOADED and REVOLUTIONS sucked so badly was because the W's injected so much philosophical babble into it. "I know because it is my purpose to know" Yuck!
I detested both of these, yet I loved FOTR and T2T. Why does that confuse you? They're completely different genre.
