The Butterfly effect

Can Aston Kutcher pull off a serious role???? This movie looks pretty decent. Anyone planning on seeing it? There is a trailer for it at the apple trailer web site.

I saw this film at a test screening in February. It was a pretty rough cut, so I don't know what they'll change, but I loved it. Kutcher does a good job. Not great, but good. Amy Smart is great, in my opinion. The film is very very dark, dealing with such subjects as molestation, murder, and things like that. Definitely a deeper film than you would expect from Ashton.

It's like an R-Rated version of Back to the Future Part 2, where things that happen in the past heavily effect the future.

Amy Smart <--- I'd hit it!

I saw the trailer a couple weeks back. The longer the trailer ran the more interested I became. I was ready to dismiss it as Ashton "tries" serious, but I like the concept and Amy Smart, so why the hell not, right?

Wow I wouldn't have thought I'd be intrested in it, but this could turn out to be a bit better than decent.

This trailer looked like they made a whole movie based on the start of that recent Time Machine movie (I never read the book or saw the old movie).

I love time travel stories but the Ashton Kutcher thing makes me not care. Of course that said, I hope the movie bombs :P

Being a time travel nut, I'm going to have to go see this movie.

If you don't like Ashton Kutcher, you still might enjoy seeing that in the movie, he (warning, MAJOR sequence SPOILER for Butterfly Effect)
Spoiler:
becomes an amputee, not his usual pretty boy image

Finally saw this last night and I got to say I really enjoyed it. Some very dark subject matter but I think the ending was fitting.
