What movies don't have any opening credits?

I just got back from Clint Eastwood's latest flick "Mystic River". Excellent film, highly recommended, etc.

There were no opening credits. Not one.

What other cinematic triumphs/failures disdain words on the screen before the ending?

Many, many movies these days have only the title, and save all the credits until the end. But it's rare for a movie to have nothing including the title until the end. The Mummy Returns is one that comes to mind, but there aren't any others that I can think of.

I was going to say Mystic River, but you already mentioned that.

Both of these have absolutely no opening credits. Not even the title.

Apocalypse Now
Cruising

Well, Ghostbusters 2 only had the No-Ghosts logo at the very beginning. No names, no actors - nothing.

I'm not sure if the blues brothers has credits at the beginning. all I recall is the large flaming industrial looking shots and then it's the prision scene.

Iron Eagle II
Beverly Hills Cop III
Hoffa

all lack any opening credits.

Are you guys sure about Mystic River...I could have sworn there was a title card that said "Mystic River", but I may have gotten so wrapped up in the story so fast that I completely forgot about looking for credits...

Yeah, I think it said Mystic River, but there weren't any credits like Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Kevin Bacon, Directed by Clint Eastwood, etc.

Braveheart popped into my head, but not that I think about it I think it did display a title card at some point.

It seems that the norm nowadays is to not have them. Very few films do anymore.

Pirates of the Carribean didn't even have the studio logo, which struck me as extremely odd...especially coming from Disney.

I haven't seen a disney movie in a long time, with the old blue and white logo. Do they still use it?(lion king was black and red, and finding nemo had the cgi logo)

Rypro--I believe that Disney now uses the 3D logo that Pixar created a while back for Toy Story for all of their animated movies. It has been a while since I've seen the old 2D logo.

Many of the films mentioned here DO have a title at or near the beginning. As I said, that's very common.
