(Note: 1 - 12 are estimates, but Friday estimates are pretty much always really accurate, it's just sunday predictions that seem to be off. Lost in Translation's gross is from actual figures.)
Awesome to see OUaTiM doing that well, I for one loved the movie, was a little worried since the theater was, well, empty, should make around $22m for the weekend (have a feeling it'll drop on Saturday). Matchstick Men is doing "okay" and will likely do better off word of mouth than the polarizing OUaTiM. Cabin Fever opened strong considering the kind of movie it is and how few ads I've seen - but then I'm sure other people have been hyping it for a while. Dickie Roberts did better than I thought it would, but still pretty badly. Pirates of the Caribbean is still holding up pretty well, good. The big winner, though, seems to be Lost in Translation which looks amped to make an average $32,000+ per theater for the weekend, which I think is pretty damn good...
