Who should be the next Bond villain?

After watching Insomnia I've come to the opinion that Stellan Skarsgård would make a superb Bond villain. He's someone that's recognizable but many might not remember from where (Good Will Hunting, Hunt for Red October, Ronin, Unbearable Lightness, Amistad).

Who else should/could be a candidate (like we have any influence) ?

DonnachaOne 09-05-03 01:33 PM

JURGEN PROCHNOW

God.

As an actor, hmmmmm? How about Sean Connery? How ironic that would be.

But as a villian, we need someone classic or at least cool enough to remember or fear.

The Return of Dr. No

****ing A. Jon beat me to it.

My friend is always going on about how Sean should be a Bond villian at some point.

resinrats 09-05-03 03:42 PM

Sean Connery would be an awesome villian. They could throw in some lines as a joke of Sean playing Bond before. Sort of how there was the 20th watch joke in Die Another Day.

guy pierce would be a cool arrogant villain but since they had someone like that in the last one maybe stuart wilson from the mask of zorro. he was a great villain.

gmal2003 09-05-03 07:02 PM

Good point on Pierce but his role in The Count of Monte Cristo is quite similiar to that of Graves from Die Another Day.

Id like to see Bonds face a black villian or a very recognizable face my choices would be:

Ving Rhames
Christian Bale
Bruce Willis
Sam Jackson

Samuel 09-05-03 07:51 PM

I'd like to see Mickey Rourke as a bond Villian.

sinister 09-05-03 09:45 PM

rourke would be great also or go with a tag team villain combo of redman and method man. not.

RyoHazuki 09-05-03 10:00 PM

Steven Segal

Ah-nuld...

or the Olsen twins.

Deadman31 09-06-03 05:24 AM

Id like to see Bond vs. Bond. Kinda like Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.

Goldberg74 09-06-03 09:28 AM

Jonathon Lipniki.

DeputyDave 09-06-03 09:32 AM

I think Bond needs to face a truly insane villain, played by an actor who can really chew up the scenery. How about Gary Oldman?

cactusoly 09-06-03 06:54 PM

Bring back SPECTRE

LivingINClip 09-07-03 01:30 AM

Christopher Walken - because Christopher Walken can make any role cool! Hell, the man was one of the saving factors of 'Batman Returns' (that and Piefer in leather... ). Not to mention he was even cool in the craptacular Fatboy Slim music video.

Ergyu 09-07-03 04:11 AM

Carrot Top.

That's the first name that came to my mind before opening this thread!

LivingINClip 09-07-03 08:51 AM

I will go and see any movie with Christopher Walken, even that new crappy movie with 'The Rock' in it. And I would go see a new Bond movie if Walken was in it - and that's saying a lot, as I have never made it all the way through a Bond movie!

Hey maybe they could revive Max Zorin.

So did you actually see Gigli?

I was reading along and I realized that it was Mr. Walken in A View To A Kill... but all I remember from that movie is May Day (Grace "I'm Really a Man" Jones).

Max Zorin

Spectre

... I'm gonna go ahead and throw Jason Isaacs into the mix. He'd be a perfect match for a Bond villian.
