Which DVD movie inspire you for 50-60's Interior Design

I'm thinking of remodeling my home based on 50-60's old fashioned interior design (after watched the movie "Down with Love"). Could people here please recommend some other movies that has great set/costume design (especially the house and the interior design) for 50's or 60's of American style? Many thanks!

Another vote for Far From Heaven.
Not actually in the 50s, but My Dog Skip is good also.
The Majestic also has great interior imo.

I'm more into the retro-60s space decor, you know 2001: A Space Odyssey, that type of decor.

You can also check ebay for books, do a name search for EAMES BOOK, you can find alot from the 50s, 60s or 70s.

Far From Heaven is probably the best recent example of 50s set design.

I would agree that Far From Heaven is the best 50's design, but I prefer the set design on Catch Me If You Can--very sleek and colorful, and extremely retro.

Far From Heaven is a real good pick, maybe the original Ocean's 11 as well, for that "Rat Pack-Vegas" feel and some Art-Decco books might be helpful too.
