"Marci X" : looks p-r-e-t-t-y bad

Saw a commercial for this the other night. I never even knew about this film before. It looks terrible. Is this yet another movie that's been sitting on the shelf and dumped in late August like so many other dogs?

I haven't seen Marci I thru Marci IX, so I guess I'll skip this one at well. Shouldn't they give this franchise a rest?

This movie looks horrifically dated. It looks about 8 years too old to be topical.

You joking? If this turns out to be the monster hit they're expecting, in 2004 we'll finally have Marci Vs. Malcolm.

Indeed.

And even 10 years ago it'd be terrible.

Believe you me, I wanted to. Gotta watch what I say though. I was severly scolded in another thread by a Mod wanna be for basically spelling out snafu (referencing a problem I had with a video company who dumped a defective movie on the public, and are ignoring all e-mails and phone calls to get it corrected) Anyway, how about this: "Marci X" looks like poo poo (?)

Worst comedy trailer since Pluto Nash, IMO. The jokes are so horrible I thought to myself "If this is the good stuff, how bad is the stuff they're NOT showing us?"

I think the "Late August Release" is extraneous.

Funny how you guys talk about how terrible it is and none of you have actually seen it... well, okay then. This time you're right. It's pretty awful. Not that I didn't laugh alot though - it's really funny. I can't think of the proper target audience for it though. Worth seeing for free - especially if you're high. It's the kind of movie that puts that confused look on your face every 5 minutes and then you laugh cuz you don't know what else to do.

At least we (those who actually go) get to see Damon reprise his character "T-Bone" from Colors. It's the same voice, mannerisms and everything.

Marci X is 1 hour and 13 minutes? That's the length of most cartoon movies.
