The Shape Of Things

Worth a blind buy?

I'm a fan of Weitz and Rudd... I'm thinking about it, thats for sure

If you're a fan of Labute's previous work, you should definitely see this. While it wasn't one of my favorite Labute films, I love his dark cynicism and fearlessness. While the viewer might wince at some of the goings-on, it's still an almost morbid fascination. The film provides a good showcase for Weitz and Rudd, especially Weitz.

Don't know if it's something you'd want to watch repeatedly, but I'm sure you could trade it here.

Blind rent? Yes!

Blind buy? No!

It was okay, but it was very UNcinematic and very much just a filmed stage production.

I enjoyed it. However, it was dark and brutal with no desire to rewatch regularly for me. I concur on the rent first.

Rent, at best. This is Labute light.

Labute's worst. Easily.
