The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe

I was at the video store and they had this movie there. I read this book about 12 years ago and did not know it had sequals. How many movies are there since I saw 3 of them at the video store, and Which order should i watch them in. ALso are these movies any good.

7 books. I think 3 videos. I'd watch them in order (Lion, followed by Prince Caspian, followed by Silver Chair). The videos are pretty cheesy productions, but I still like them.

The books I like a lot. They've reordered them in new editions, chronilogically, although I prefer them in the original order

Original Order
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
Horse and His Boy
Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle

The new order (I think)
Magicians
Lion
Horse
Prince
Voyage
Silver
Last Battle

Horse and His Boy is a side tale, so can be read in either of the two orders, but I think that it's much more rewarding to read Magicians Nephew as the next to last book, since you get more of the "AHa" factor that way.

yea my sister had those movies, I remember them having terrible acting, but they stayed pretty true to the story.

I'm not a fan of the new order of the books anyway, they changed it so it was chronological, I guess the original order was confusing.

That link is for a Lion, Witch, & Wardrobe coming out Thanksgiving 2005? Pending a trailer, I'd definately see it.

I'm a little worried about the new, live action version. Isn't it being produced by some small, independant, Christian/educational film company? Yup, just checked and it is being produced by Walden Media.

Here is the official website for the new one:
