They pulled it? That sucks! I love the show, but I don't watch it on A&E because of the cuts. Still, I hate to see such a great show taken off the air. I'd recommend picking up the DVDs when they come out (they are a lot cheaper in the UK if you have a multiple region DVD player)

Meh. I think I'm actually just gonna can the season pass and go through the dvds come Jan. I'd rather:
a) Full Widescreen
b) 100% for sure surround (iffy on this over sat sometimes)
c) UNCUT episodes

Picked it up but haven't been in a rush to speed through it.
I just finished "The Book" (ep 5) and through it was a really really good episode.
Hopefully the season maintains the same level of quality as this ep.

Mi-5 (Spooks) Coming to BBC America.
Link
BBC America is restructuring its programming schedule to clarify for advertisers where they should buy spots.
It will now program each night to target one specific demographic; previously each night contained programming aimed at a mix of demographics.
The move comes as the upfront ad-buying process begins and after BBC Worldwide Americas named Garth Ancier to be president of U.S. operations.
Each nightly primetime block is getting its own name, and will be programmed with both existing and new BBCA fare:
Mondays become "Murder Mondays," and feature thriller programs, including co-production Wire in the Blood and Murphy's Law.
"Tuesday Nitro," will feature with male-targeting reality and drama, including new acquisition MI-5.
"Wicked Wednesdays," will run female-focused shows including Footballers Wives and new acquisition Goldplated. "Big Thursdays," will focus on characters, including reality shows from Gordon Ramsay and talk shows from Graham Norton.
"Crime Scene Fridays," will focus on procedurals including new co-productions Whistleblower and The Innocence Project.
"Supernatural Saturdays" will feature science fiction shows, including new co-production Jekyll.
"Adventure Sundays" will program action dramas, including Robin Hood, as well British movies.
BBCA, which is distributed by Discovery Networks, averaged 71,000 viewers in prime during February, down 9% from last year.

Nice!
Wonder if they'll start with series 1 or go with series 5. I have a feeling it will still be the edited 40-45 minute versions.
Although I hope they ditch those tacky names for the different nights.

Goldplated? Why, God, why? The show was a disaster in the UK - after relentless promotion, the first couple of eps got horrible ratings, and the show was dumped to a 2AM time slot to burn off the episodes.
Good to hear about Spooks though, even if I've already seen them already. Here's hoping they don't run the edited versions!

I'm bumping this since there is a fantastic deal on Series 1 over at amazon.com Think it's something like 70% off the regular price. 2-4 are still pricey even though they are discounted.

BBC-America just started airing MI-5 - it's on Tuesdays at 9. Almost got S1 during the DD sale, but didn't bother when I noticed that BBCA will be airing the entire series. Great for me since I only caught a few eps when it was on A&E previously.
