Anybody seen "Joint Security Area"? [SPOILERS]

What did you think about it? I'm considering getting this as a blind buy since it seems like a historical/military drama that I'd enjoy.

Here's a review.

Hmm, nobody has seen this movie? Maybe I'll have better luck at the international forum.

Great flick. Very human look at N. Korea -- not 100% objective perhaps, but a nice contrast to how we in the west tend to see them.

Excellent film, very moving and involving. As far as unification-themed films, much better than the big-budget action schlockfest of Shiri or the overrated, overwrought, overpraised, and underwhelming Coast Guard.

I rented it through netflix. I thought it was going to be a semi-action film. Its not. Its a drama. But it is a very good and powerful drama.

I bought it last fall and I thought it was a suprisingly good film... I think it is definitely worth buying without seeing.
Sidenote: The Swedish military uniform is even in perfect detail.
