That's the one aspect of Chasing Amy I really liked. The idea that two people in a relationship can let go of their past relationships with other people. (Although... I think it's better if both parties confess to each other if they get very serious with each other).

The postlude is perfect also.
Spoiler:
When he sees her in the comic book convention and they have that "moment" before he turns away forever... broke my heart.

Best = Chasing Amy
Funniest = Clerks with J&SBSB a solid second.

CHASING AMY is a classic.

I saw it for the first time on video when it first came out
and have seen it several times since.

Jason Lee is brilliantly funny for example....his scene in the club when he figures out their not straight.

One of my favorites.

Jay and Silent Bob was the next "funniest" in my opinion.

Clerks (the funniest) or Chasing Amy (the one I can always watch)

I picked Clerks, but it was close.

4 Chasing Amy
5 Dogma

I think Chasing Amy is one of his best written movies. I just find 3 of his other movies a bit funnier.

Clerks. Some great works in Chasing Amy, then downhill. It seems the bigger the budget, the less heart makes it into the film with Messr. Smith.

1. Chasing Amy
2. Clerks

and the other three are just not nearly as good, IMO, and I would much rather watch the Clerks animated series than the other films.

3. Dogma
4. Mallrats

5. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back -- hugely disappointing with very very few moments I enjoyed.

Chasing Amy is by far is best work. Even though I liked Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob, the writing and editing on them were awfully sloppy.
