ADV Films/Weta/GAINAX begin production on live action Evangelion.
If you look in the new Newtype anime magazine you'll see there's a piece on the Evangelion movie that's in the works. There were some concept sketches that were included in the article, but unforutnately I couldn't find them on the net.
I don't know much about Evangelion but I'm exercising "cautious optimism". I know this can go either way. So I'm not getting my hopes up.

Nearly a decade but nothing happened on a "Live" version of Evangelion.
