Of all the summer action blockbusters...
which should I definately not miss? I don't have much time to see a lot of movies, at the theater. I have considered Matrix 2, but still haven't seen it. Would that be a good choice or is there better out there that shouldn't be missed in a theater enviroment? I'm sure I will see one, hopefully two movies over the summer.
I'd suggest Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines
Bad Boys 2!
T3. It's the cream of the crap.
Legally blo.... er, I mean Terminator 3.
I'd say T3 too. Its a good movie to see in theatres. Matrix 2 is good also but I'm pretty sure the DVD will come out before Revolutions so you can still see that on DVD.
so far T3 and X-Men 2. Everything else has been very boring this summer.
How can people suggest a movie, that they haven't even seen yet?
Without a doubt the ONLY summer blockbuster that you should NOT miss is Pirates Of The Caribean. It's utterly refreshing & has the best performances of any big summer movie so far. And it's the only one with near flawless special effects. T3 is a great action movie, but that is all it is. Nothinig special. Pirates is a truly special movie. |
The Italian Job... (just kidding... but not really)... my vote is with Pirates!
T3 and Pirates
T3.
Bad Boys 2, and T3.
dont bother with the Matrix. -NiCK |
See T3.
Pirates. I'll add T3 if I like it after I see it.
Go see Pirates of The Caribbean, and stay until after the credits!
See X2!
Right now, I'll go with X2 and T3. Not cuz they were great movies, just cuz I like movies with one letter and one number in the title.
Actually, those were the best I've seen this summer, followed closely by Pirates Of The Caribbean, which I'll probably see again in a couple weeks (missed whatever's after the credits). I also liked The Matrix Reloaded, though it was sort of a letdown. Avoid LXG and Hulk, at all costs. K |
Hulk was probably the best flick of the summer in terms of sheer moviedom.
I dunno, see 'em all :D |
WoW thanks for the great responses.
The other 2 Terminators were so great, I didn't want to be let down by this one. It doesn't sound like I will be. Pirates sounds like a great option if I make it out to a second, this summer. Thanks, Bigsierra |
X2, T3, and Charlie's Angels (I'm dead serious).
Another vote for T3.
1) Matrix Reloaded
2) T3 3) X2 4) Pirates Of The Caribbean 5) The Italian Job I haven't seen Bad Boys II (maybe for the fact it doesn't open for 5 more days), Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, or LXG yet. And don't even bother with The Hulk. |

1. Matrix Reloaded
2. Hulk |
Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines.
T3 and X2 without a doubt!
1) T3
2) X2 3) Pirates 4) CA2 5) Nemo The rest were crappy (MR, Bruce, Hulk, LB2) |
X2, pirates and hulk. depp's character is easily the best character of the summer.
T3!!!!!!!! I'm an Ahnuld fan. Of course you can watch Legally Blonde2 and be scratching your head on the way out of the theatre.......
Hulk.
Give this one ten years and everyone will be praising it as underrated. |
Umm. No we won't. ;)
Another T3 vote. But Pirates was EXCELLENT as well. after those 2 it would have to be Nemo, X2, then Matrix: Reloaded. |
Give me ten years before I can muster the energy to sit through that awful ending again...
Pirates of the Carribean
As for Hulk, ah no. IFC showed Eat Drink Man Woman the other day and it reminded me that Ang Lee is actually a good director. |
