Dallas/Ft. Worth film fans...go see GIANT!

to those of you in the DFW area, i must reccommend that you head over to the Magnolia theater off of 75 and see Giant. they are showing it in DLP and it looks absolutely fantastic!! unfortunately, it is only playing thru thursday. however, if you get an opportunity to see it, it is great.

giant is the classic movie that ended up being james dean's last film. it also has elizabeth taylor and rock hudson. here is a summary from imdb:

Texan rancher Bick Benedict visits a Maryland farm to buy a prize horse. Whilst there he meets and falls in love with the owner's daughter Leslie, they are married immediately and return to his ranch. The story of their family and its rivalry with cowboy and (later oil tycoon) Jett Rink unfolds across two generations.
