Best Horror DVD in an Amusement park

I just vaguely had a flashback of watching a nice horror movie situated in an amusement park when I was a kid but I can't remember the name of the movie. Does anyone know the names of any good horror dvds that have that theme? Maybe it'll jog my memory. Thanks much appreciated.

P.S. I'm not talking about 'BIG' with Tom Hanks. It was some other movie.

Well, I wouldn't call it "good", but since you saw it as a kid, maybe you were a bit more forgiving...

The Funhouse

EDIT: Or are you thinking of Something Wicked This Way Comes ??

Are you talking about a horror movie with Hanks in it?

He was in one called "He Knows You're Alone" I think. I remember a scene of an amusement park but I could be wrong.

I think that it was his first movie.

Something Wicked This Way Comes ....?

Jonathan Pryce is Mr. Dark of Dark's Pandemonium Carnival... The two kids, Will Halloway and Jim Nightshade uncover what really occurs when the townspeople begin disappearing and winding up as part of the carnival. Jason Robards plays Will's father, an old librarian who has lost his ability to be youthful within. Pam Grier plays the dust witch, who "brainwashes/changes" the willing participants, into making their dream come true for a price. One old crusted woman wanted to be young and beautiful again, she was, but at the price of her sight. Check it out... Very dark and quite scary for Disney film.

Questions about movies, as opposed to questions specifically about discs (like features, release dates, transfers), belong in Movie Talk.

It might help to know how old you are/how long ago you saw the movie and on what medium (TV, Video, Theater?).

Yup, great early slasher movie. Had this one on CED...saw it many times. This one, the fog, terror train, motel hell...what times those were.
