Favorite Cinema Hurl

Saturday night I watched "Man Bites Dog" on Criterion night on IFC. As anyone knows who's seen it, there's a pretty graphic scene where Benoit upchucks his mussles right in the restaurant as he's eating them. NICE!

An hour later, I put in "Henry Fool" (great DVD) and there's the scene where Simon's being forced to kiss a girl's ass after he's been caught peeping her ****ing Kevin Corrigan in the alley. Corrigan forces Simon's face to her ass and he hurls chunks all over it.

What's your favorite puke scene?

Without a doubt, the nameless kid in "Go Tigers!" at the HS drinking party. The very definition of "projectile" vomiting. I especially like how after completely emptying the contents of his stomach he immediately opens another can of beer and keeps chugging away.

Of course, this was all real BTW. Not fake or staged... since it was a documentary. Don't know about the rest that have been mentioned.

I HATE upchuck scenes and I've avoided movies in the past for having them. It's just not my thing. With that said here are some that really messed with my head and my stomach...

Car Wash...kids pukes in Mercedes
Witches of Eastwick....cherry pits
The Meaning of Life...fat guy pukes scene
28 Day Later...infected puking bloody vomit in faces of victims
The Sopranos...in the FBI office

Post Vomit:

Seven...the Glutton victim

Jill Clayburgh throwing up in the street in
An Unmarried Woman.
it was the first time i had ever seen an actor/actress perform something that gross and unglamourous on screen and it packed a big whallop to my 12 yr old eyes.

now its used so much , and usually in a crass way, that it seems like nothing.
