This is the original script for the film "They". I read the entire thing last night, and it was fantastic. Really creepy. Completely different than what actually got made. The only thing similar are the characters names, that's pretty much it! Even the monsters are different.
Towards the end it turns into something similar to Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
In this script, "They" erase the memory of your friends and family so that they don't remember you ever existing. Therefore, when they kill you and steal your skin and bones, nobody will know. Nobody will care, because you basically never existed to anyone.
The version that got made, I hate it. I really really hate it. It is sooo boring and pointless.
