Adv - Matrix Revolutions Poster

Didn't see this posted yet, but I found an image of the advance for the Matrix Revolution. Looks like they will be doing a holographic poster, much like they did for Reload. This one has the phrase "Everything That Has A Beginning Has An End" scrolling down the right hand side. Looks pretty cool!

"'How much more black could this be?' And the answer is: 'None...none more black.'"

Looks interesting. I also love the visual "end of the Matrix" motif in that poster, and hope to see it carried further in the movie's eventual marketing campaign.

Jackskeleton 06-08-03 10:54 AM

ooooh... I want. :)

Phuzbox 06-08-03 10:59 AM

Dammit, I just got the one for Reloaded a couple of weeks ago, know I gotta get this one to put under it.

clemente 06-08-03 11:51 AM

Hopefully the Matrix Shop puts this one on sale for 17.95!

Looks awesome. I wish i had extra money to spend on posters :(

Needs more green. I'll pass.

Rypro 525 06-08-03 03:16 PM

Where can I buy this?

jarofclay73 06-08-03 03:30 PM

I was not really that impressed with the marketing campaign with Reloaded and it seems that Revolutions is no different. I'm sure they are employing a minimalistic approach since the name sells itself.

I'm just glad we're putting this series to bed by the end of the year.

FuzzyBallz 06-08-03 07:49 PM

hehe, good come back matrix fanboy.

Nice poster, I'll need one to replace my aging Tekken 3 poster.

One of the reasons why the marketing is a little subdued is because Warner Bros. is trying to avoid the perception of strongly marketing an R-rated movie to a teen audience.

Which is strange since Reloaded seemed to be aimed at 13-15 year olds.

spankyj 06-09-03 08:46 AM

Well then - I must be 14.

Sweet poster, that'll look nice on my wall.

jeffkjoe 06-11-03 05:37 PM

These 2 MATRIX sequel posters make you wonder how they're gonna change the cover art on the forth-coming DVD's, right?

I mean, it's NOT going to be a bunch of streaming computer code with the release dates, that's for sure.

CKMorpheus 06-11-03 06:04 PM

Awesome!

Ebay for about 85 bucks :D

Chrisedge 06-12-03 10:30 AM

reminder, there were two holo posters for Reloaded (the 2003 one, and the 05-15 one) unless you consider the 2003 an adv for both movies...

(I have the 2003 one)

Did you ever see all the individual character posters for Matrix Reoaded? I though some of them were pretty cool. I especially liked the framing of the shots (ie. no eyes visible).

I'm hoping for something different, but equally stylish for the DVD release.

clemente 06-13-03 04:00 PM

The three potential DVD covers were already revealed at Digital Bits a few weeks back.
