raiders of the lost ark

fong sai yuk
halloween
young guns
the odd couple
ghostbusters
2001 a space odyssey
butch cassidy and the sundance kid (okay, it was a prequel)

- The Howling - Despite part 2 having starred Christopher Lee. And don't even get me started on some of the later ones.

- The Lawnmower Man

- Mission Impossible

American Psycho - Instead of Christian Bale for the sequel we get, of all people, William Shatner...

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Halloween (with Michael Myers, anyway. They should have gone in the direction of part 3 and had a different story every movie)

Since the ending left no chance for a sequel...Highlander. Instead we got the putrid Highlander 2: The Sickening.

-Stephen King's "Carrie" (Carrie 2 "The Rage" was awful, )
-Escape From New York (John Carpenter really ruined this one and sadly this movie was released before "Ghost Of Mars", Carpenter might as well stick a fork in it, his directing career is dead, "Escape From New York" was an amazing movie, but "Escape from L.A." was utter garbage)

The Matrix

That film had such a nice ending, and with
Spoiler:
Neo with god-like powers inside The Matrix, and his call for those listening to awake
there is little else to tell.

Alien. It was just so perfect, and then Cameron had to screw everything up with that stupid action movie sequel. Then it went even more downhill...

I disagree. I personally thought Young Guns 2 was vastly superior than the first film.

I'm another firm believer that each and every Crow sequel is a mistake.
