Who pans to watch Hitler: Rise of Evil on CBS?

For a TV movie, I am really looking forward to this. Is anyone else
intrigued?

Is anyone planning on boycotting the film due to subject matter?

Nope. I have a hard time taking tv movies seriously. And I hate the commercial interruptions. That's just me though. It may be good. If it is I'll rent the inevitable DVD.

nope....i honestly haven't watched a tv movie in a long long time. I think the last one i tuned in for was that "real-time" remake of a 60s nuclear crisis flick with Noah Wyle et al........something frame? Anyway....and before that i couldn't tell you. I just don't like made for tv movies....99% suck.

"Pans" is right. This mini-series has gotten horrific reviews.

Was not impressed w/ the first segment that aired last night. Didn't give any insight to the rise of Hitler that I could see. I don't see the point to it at all. It has a good cast and everything, but all they show the viewer is the Hitler was psychotic. Ya think?

I kinda liked it until the last 45 minutes. Then it was just one more way to draw comparisons between Hitler and George W. Bush. Just like Matrix Reloaded(if anyone else caught those pics in that movie). I don't know the validity of it but supposedly the EX. Prod. of Hitler came right out and said that the comparisons were purposely done, and this is heresay but it was probably the only reason they did the stupid thing, well not really.
I mean come on, Hitler said things about Terroist acts and restricting freedom that the real Hitler never said.
And the whole war and peace speach toward the end, with the right and left groups. At least try to be a little more subtle.

Yup I agree.....I watched some of part 2 yesterday.......Yikes!!!!!!

Don't they know they're making something awful during production

In case "awful" or "crap" aren't the proper words to fit this "film" here's some others;

- Dreadful
- Appalling
- Ghastly

And yes..........

It was so bad that what I watched seemed to have lasted longer than the war that followed
