Speculating about Matrix Revolution

This thread is for speculation about Matrix Revolutions; about where it's going to go and the plot threads. Yes, there might be spoilers.

My take on what's going to happen...
Spoiler:

... is that Neo is the next Architect who will bridge both man and machine. The 'Matrix' rebuilds itself every iteration, evolving each time, and Neo represents the next leap.

Also, most of Zion will be wiped out leaving the 23 that the Architect talks about. Yes they're going to kill almost 250,000 people but it's war, and I don't think the Wachowskis would drop that line if they didn't expect LOTS of carnage. We'll also see more allies from the realm of the machines.

Finally, Neo will manage to lift the 'dark cloud' that hangs over the Earth (as described in The Second Renaissance).

Well . . .
Spoiler:
I'm partial to think that the "real world" might not be real at all. Perhaps it is just another layer of the Matrix. That is the only real reason I can figure out why Neo actually has powers in the "real world". Maybe it was designed as another means of control. If a person got too suspicious inside the Matrix, they would be released into another virtual reality program, the "real world".

very good. But it is also possible that when Agent Smith tried to dublicate into Neo that Neo someone borrowed some of his micro chip proccessors or something. Just like Neo bursting Smith somehow changed smith. Giving Neo limited control over machines or machanics. Granted, I'm not very good at this. ;P

Not sure about Revolutions. Good ideas but I still think this about the end:

Spoiler:
I didn't see it this way at all. I saw it as the ship set off an EMP that fryed all the Sentinels. Along with Neo. And the reason he got hurt/coma is because he is part machine. Hence the being linked part Agent Smith talks about.

Hmm.. interesting.

BTW, since we've seen the equivalent of virus and a trojan horse in this movie, I wonder if we'll see the Matrix equivalent of SPAM in Revolutions... ;)

Just consider that the sentinals are SPAM.

mike ur wrong about who set f an EMP ....if it was even one at all .... [spoiler] neo use some power to destroy the sentenals, and it nearly killed him to do it. the question is HOW did he get powers outside the matrix????

two possible answers .... the "real World" isnt REAL ..... or Neo is NOT quite totally human. what if Neo, and all 'the ONEs' before him were genetically engineered to server their purpose as the archetect envisioned ?? [spoiler]

As annoyed as I was when the credits rolled on Reloaded, I've loosened up a bit to all the information layed down on me and am willing to keep an open mind to all the answers coming in Revolutions. That said, I'm also throwing out any logic in terms of trying to speculate the how/why/what is real and possible in anticipation of what the WBros' have up their sleeve next. SOOO...
After seeing the Revolutions previews, both at the end of Reloaded and the clip from Enter Matrix, I'll take a stab and guess that Neo is now stuck in the Matrix while he is in his 'coma.' Perhaps he has now gone 'wireless' thanks to Nokia or something, not necessitating a hard line, or perhaps as a result of the 'real world' just being another matrix layer. I didn't see any shots of his 'real' self in the previews and I'm concentrating on the one shot where Morpheus says "he fights for us." Could this mean that, while Neo has no hope of returning to the 'real/outer world,' he still resumes his mission as a result of not having anything to lose...
Thus concludes my left-field analysis.

Hmm I think the title has another clue. It's RevolutionS... so it might not just be the good partying shiny happy people of Zion going against the machines... Neo against the Architect?

Well, some previews for Matrix Online basically say:

Spoiler:
that the game apparently takes place after Revolutions, and allows players to decide if they want their character to fight for the humans as Zionists, or to fight on the side of the machines (but not necessarily as a machine).
