How many times are you planning to see it during the opening weekend ?

Is the Matrix Reloaded at the level of the Star Wars prequels yet ?? I don't think we'll see people camping out, but I know several people are already getting tickets for a couple viewings during the opening weekend, myself included.

to get good seats of course silly. Whats the point of getting your tickets in advance if you don't secure your good seats in the theater.

Probably twice.

I know when the first one came out it totally blew me away, I saw it the Tuesday before it came out, then again on Friday and Sunday...seriously. (the only time I've ever seen a single movie so many times in such a short span)

My roommate at the time, saw it four times that weekend.

Ahh the days of disposable income and time.

You should have an option for zero. Not that I'm not antipating this movie, but I just can't stand overcrowded sold-out theaters. I took my wife, niece and nephew to see Monsters Inc. when it opened and ended up sitting on the floor.

Twice on opening weekend.

We'll see how many times after that.

I was too young to see the original in theaters, but during summer vacation I watched it on one of those hotel pay-per-view channels.

...and did the same thing the following two nights, as well.

Simply incredible.

I'll wait for a while....I too cannot stand crowded theaters. But then again, I may get a wild impulse and watch it opening weekend!

Got my tickets for a 10pm show on the 14th. Should be a lot of fun. I'm very good at not getting my expectations up on movies.

However, unless my wife REALLY wants to go, I'm going ot hold off to bring her for a week or so, let the crowds die down a bit.

Once. I'll go during the day when I'm awake, and coherent enough to pay attention. Plus, it'll be much, much less crowded.

Twice for sure-if it's that good. I just seen X2 Midnight showing, Fir, and Sat.-so twice on Fir. But I'm an X-geek.

Once, if I'm lucky. It's out in a very bad weekend for me (law school graduation, with all my family up here)

I'll wait for the crowds to die down. The theater I go to is always crowded as hell, so I avoid big movie openings for everything except LOTR and Star Wars.

I'm looking forward to this movie more than LOTR or Star Wars. But, no matter how great it is I wouldn't waste time watching it twice in the same week. Once will be enough for now.

I know it'll be crowded, but I'll see it Thursday at the 5:45 showing. HOPEFULLY it won't be THAT bad, but I don't care. As long as I have a good seat I don't care if there are 20 or 120 people in the theater w/me (except for the obvious cell-phone and/or chew-like-a-sow morons).

they allowed that? isnt it technically a fire hazard?

ive seen theaters kick out people sitting on the floor before for that reason...unfortunately it was because ALOT of people snuck in and took their legit seats. it was opening night of blair witch and alot of people bought tickets for other movies but snuck into blair witch when they sold out.

Twice.

I have purchased tickets already for tonight's 10:00pm show and tomorrow's 3:15pm show.

I actually like being in full theaters, adds to the excitement. I just get there early enough to get a decent seat (usually 1/2 hour prior).

Another vote for none. I really want to see this movie and will likely see it more than once if it is good, but I am busy this weekend and don't really want to fight the lines if I do find time. I will likely wait a week or so.

anyboy else find it ironic that for a film in which the characters prattle on about choice and free will, that it's fan-base is damn near programmed into seeing this multiple times and admiring it, before they even see it once?

i understand you're basing your action on the past quality of the creators works, but i just find something about this situation to ring of irony
