Now I don't read books, so I don't know anything about Harry Potter (or Lord of the Rings for that matter) books, but what about Harry Potter 3? Is the fourth book going to be the third movie or what? Are they skipping the third book? Is there going to be a Harry Potter 3 before part 4?

Potter 3 (Prisoner of Azkaban) is slated for next year. I heard WB put it on hold this year to make way for the 2 Matrices.

This discussion is about the eventual 4th(and 4.5th) movie. Probably for 2005 or 2006

This has been rumored/known for a long time. The original rumor is that the first half would be released at Thanksgiving and the second half would be released at Christmas.

Great idea. There will still be some things that won't fit, but it is great tha they're taking this approach and I have complete confidence that they'll pull it off.

Gobblet of fire is the best book up to date, and to shrink it down to even 3 hours would be a huge injustice, I just can't see it happening.

As long as the DVD is released as a single collection, they can make two films for the theatre.

Part I: "Harry Potter And..."
Part II: "...The Goblet Of Fire"

Or maybe "Goblet" and "Goblet Refilled".
