Under Siege - reboot

Yes, Steven Seagal and Under Siege 3 are on it's way.

I'm surprised he doesn't call it something like...

Under Siege 3 - Extreme Bullet Attack
Under Siege 3 - 2 Fat 2 Die
Under Siege 3 - Over Siege
Under Siege 3 - Honey I Sunk the Ship
Under Siege 3 - Still Just a Cook
Under Siege 3 - Fight of the Extreme Fighter

I think it's a safe bet that this will also include DMX, Ja Rule, Kurupt, or possibly all three!

He's done a train, a ship, and a plane (in Executive Decision)... a space shuttle (or maybe a space station) might be one of the only things left that hasn't been sieged!

paraphrased from Newsradio:

Jimmy James: "It's like that movie where they're under siege . . ."
Dave Foley: "Under Siege?"
JJ: "No, not that one."
DF: "Under Siege 2?"
JJ: "No, no. Keep going."
DF: "Under Siege 3?"
JJ: "Bingo! That's it!"
Lisa Miller: "Actually, I don't think there was an Under Siege 3."
JJ: "Hey, a guy can dream can't he?!"

You don't see too many fat action stars though.

I also liked the first two. I hope the third will have another scenery-chewing villain like Tommy Lee Jones and Eric Bogosian.

According to the IMDB, the tagline is "Terror flies high", so it's most likely a hijacked plane.

Honk!

I heard he was doing Genghis Kahn first, and that doesn't start shooting for a while. And I hope he can return at least to his Exit Wounds weight. He looked like an angry humpty dumpty in his last film.

Now days anyone can be an action hero, big, small... doesn't matter anymore. Do you really believe any action star can do what they do in movies?? He is probably one of the few that actually can(regardless of what anyone says about him), weight or not.

Hopefully they will get a decent villian, that is what makes these types of movies good.

I liked the Under Seige flicks. As long as there are no rappers in the movie, I'll probably see it.

Thats orginal. Didnt Wesley Snipes kick butt on a hijacked plane?

I guess every action star has to have his token "kick butt on a hijacked plane" movie. Maybe this time he wont die 20 minutes into the movie and let Kurt Russel kick all the ass.

Man, I came across something involving Seagal today and could have sworn I made a topic about him doing Under Seige 3...and here it is.

The IMDB page lists it for a 2007 release...

Under Seige 3

Here's the offical synopsis:

In the 12 years since his last terrorist encounter, Casey Ryback has become a Winter Olympics champion. He is once again called into action after he uncovers a plot by terrorists to hijack his bobsled and crash it into the White House.

I see that the budget is $50 million. I'm guessing 49.5 is going to feed Seagal's fat ass?

Terrorist:Who are you?

Casey: I am just a bobsledder.
