Have you learned something from Lord of the Rings movie, or...?

...you just enjoyed the movie plain and simple?

I personally like the author and knew a little about his spiritual background. On second episode (The Two Towers): I learned something or have confirmed of what i knew about Psychology about human behavior on how it reacts in the midst of pressures and dangers.

This is also like a racist remark. :(...It is not good to judge people by their outward appearance.

You might want to try starting at the beginning of the 2nd hour. Just a tip. Why would you watch the same 1st hour of any film 5 times before ever seeing the end?

I want to apologize to all the hobbits and cave dwarves I offended with my above remarks.

I just liked it. Nothing really beyond the movie for me.

I finally learned that Sauron poses a threat to peace in the Middle Earth. Preemptive action must be taken before he attacks. He has flagrantly broken sanctions emplaced by Gondor and the Elves after his first defeat. He is actively trying to obtain a weapon of mass destruction that can rule over all the other weaons of mass destruction.

Too bad the Council of Elrond is just turning a blind eye to all of this. Boromir was trying to stir up support for a war on Mordor, but everyone else hates him for it. They're always like "Let's send in the Ringbearer to inspect the situation" and then when Rohan gets attacked they finally send in a few troops but they're still like "Let the Ringbearer do his job before we make any decisions", even though Sauron is obviously restricting the ringbearer from enter several top-priority locations such as Mount Doom.

Yes, the Lord of the Rings movies have changed my life....wait, no they haven't.

Fok 02-25-03 11:45 AM

I liked the movie a lot. Got more out of Star Wars 4-6 though, as it was a lot more philosophical.

I learned how pathetically (by comparison) Hollywood has treated the fantasy genre for decades. :D
