Best David Fincher Film
Title says it all. I like all of Fincher's films.. they all have a rather dark theme. On IMDB they list Mission: Impossible 3 and Rendezous with Rama as upcoming. And Sony has been batting around the budget for Fertig. Thoughts? Discuss... :)

I pick Fight Club by just a bit over Se7en. Both of them are in my top 10
|
Its close between Fight Club and Se7en but I liked Fight Club more.
|
100% for Fight Club, so far! ;)

Fertig! Fertig!
I hope they shoot it in the Philippines. Though it might be difficult, with the war going on :D |
FC's my all-time fave, so that probably makes it my fave Fincher. Big fan of the rest except A^3.
|
Fight Club was my choice.. followed by The Game. Se7en would have been first if he had shot the original ending. ;)
|
What's Fertig?
|
I enjoyed both se7en and fight club. Just had to pick one though.
|
Fight Club.
Se7en was excellent, but it was only excellent in the first viewing. Maybe it's me, but the movie just wasn't made for multiple viewings. So I pick Fight Club, a movie that actually got better with each viewing. |
Originally posted by CrazeeDonkee What's Fertig? I haven't read the script and Fincher's name still seems attached to it. Not sure if Pitt is still attached [since he's on Troy]. All I know is that they're running budget numbers on it to see if it could be a possibility. |

Se7en, by far

Another one for Seven!
|
The Game is my favorite, followed by Se7en, and a great distance behind, Panic Room and Fight Club.
|
se7en all the way...
Panic Room was his worst so far... Need to see Alien3 directors cut... :( |
Fight Club gets my vote!
|
Yep, I'm the guy who voted for Alien3, and I'd do it again, dammit! Seriously, I enjoy all of Fincher's movies (although Panic Room was rather disappointing), but have seen Alien3 the most, and stop to watch it whenever I catch it on satellite. Highly underrated.

I always thought, that Se7en was as well-made a thriller as you can find. I loved Fight Club, but I thought that at times it was more style than substance, whereas Se7en had everything that makes a good thriller--thanks to Alfred Hitchcock.
The Game was pretty good, until the trite and absolutely preposterous ending. |
Se7en. Something about that movie makes me want to watch it again and again and again and again..........
|
Se7en, hands down.
