It's a masterpiece of a movie, absolutely terrible DVD. The fact that it's a flipper and non-anamorphic is a big let-down. The flipper I could deal with, but dammit, I want anamorphic!

The thing I really liked is that the movie held close to the book.

Is it better than Godfather I or II? I don't think so. But it is an absolutely wonderful movie.

I loved "GoodFellas," and I enjoyed "Casino" as well - I have the "Casino" DVD, and while it is one long and enjoyable motion picture, you didn't need to flip it.

"GoodFellas" wasn't as long as "Casino," was it? Like most, I'm holding out for the SE.

I've noticed that Scorcese films have a habit of giving you the best parts of the movie in the 1st 20 minutes(set up). That's not to say the rest sucks, I'm just saying he sets things up in an interesting way before getting into the rest of the film.
