You know, that elf from LOTR, now a prince, steals this chick away from king of Sparta guy and started a war on oil.. eventually a giant condom horse was given by Hector (bean).. Hmm, correction, a trojan horse was involved, scratch that condom comment... anyhow. Maybe it's about a virus on your computer?
Hey, a movie about a war dealing with Oil, Trojan condoms and an elf from LOTR.. sounds interesting.

Well, it all looks good on paper now . . . that is until commitment-phobic Mr. Pitt decides to bolt for greener pastures.
Plus after paying Brad's salary and covering the production costs for making one of these "sandal epics," the studio's going to be in the hole probably $50-$70 before paying any of the other principal players.
In these cost conscious times, I'd hate to be selling this pricey package to a studio.
'Course, I'm biased. I'd rather see the money funneled into the recent "King Conan" script that's been floating around.

It happens all the time. Remember New Rose Hotel starring Willem Dafoe, Christopher Walken and Asia Argento based on a story by Willam B. Gibson (Neuromancer) and directed by Abel (Bad Lieutenenat) Ferrara? That film was slow and dull, disappointing to the max. A lot of films these days have a great pedigree but fall flat.
