How crowded was your showing of Daredevil?
my showing was about half full for the first matinee here in Burley. how full was it at your showing?
Saw the 11 am show on Saturday so there were probably around 15 people in the theater.
Friday at 7:20pm, half the theater was full.
Went Sat. at 4:30pm and it was full.
I saw it Friday night at 930AM, and out of maybe 150 seats, 10 or so were empty
Saw friday 3:30 about 30 in seats out of like 150-200.
saw it last night at 11:40. there were maybe 50 people in a 500 seat theater.
it's going to bomb, i tell you! |
I think its gonna bomb to,I asked my freinds to go see it with me and they laughed at me and they will see anything,I think just because Affleck is in it will be the main reason it bombs.
I wouldn't call 40 million + for an opening weekend a bomb.
I had mixed reviews of it, didnt like how they could defy gravity with jumping, but I knwo they did it in the comics so, if you could take that as a fun movie, it was good. Duncan and Garner I thought were awsome in it. Afflec did a good job. Collin Ferrel I thought was Bad-Ass in the movie. And of Coarse, anything with Joey Pants in it is good in my book!

Originally posted by Obey The D I wouldn't call 40 million + for an opening weekend a bomb. Obviously you didn't read into my sarcasm. Clearly it won't come close to Spiderman in terms of box office revenue, but it should do well enough to warrant a sequel. |
it better be good enough to warrant asequel, they were setting us up for one towards the end of the movie...
I went on Friday, midnight, in the middle of a snowstorm, and the theater was packed.
Saw the sneak on Thursday night, probably 1/4 full.
I went to the Saturday matinee and it was about 1/3 full.
10pm on Tursday night: packed!
Went Friday night in the middle of a snow fall and the rodes were pretty shitty, but the show was still sold out....
So I went back Saturday for the first show and the theater was just about full. |
I haven't seen it as of yet, but a friend who saw it last night said it was pretty much packed.
I saw it at a downtown theater and it was about three quarters full. It was a small theater so I guess out of about 200 or so seats maybe about 150 were full.
Why was it playing at a small downtown art theater you might ask? A couple of years ago the own of the York Square Theater here in New Haven, CT wanted to get a reel of Amistad. Senor Spielbergo vehemently refused saying he didn't want that film to play in the inner city. So the theater owner filed a law suit against three distributors and won. This little theater gets about 1 first run film a year now. |
Saw it Sat 4pm showing. Theatre was about 3/4 full.
My theater was almost empty at 9:45 Friday night, but we were having near white-out blizzard conditions.
2:50 showing today. (Prez Day) 85% full
Loved it by the way... |
In Roanoke Virigina, on Sunday, first show: 20
Went to an opening night showing and the theater was maybe a third full.
On the other hand, I haven't seen a theater full since Two Towers. And even that was the first in quite a while. |
Friday, 8 30, packed
