Your favorite Bill Paxton moments!!

I must admit Bill Paxton started out for me as a "Cult wacky guy" (Chet from "Weird Science" and Hudson in "Aliens" )

My friends used to laugh at me when I told them that "Bill Paxton is in that movie...Go see it!!" (kinda as a joke) but that wacky Texan as turned into quite the thespian (and director) over the years...

My favorite Paxton moments:

-The bar scene in "Near Dark"

-His change from coward to a dude who dies a hero's death in "Aliens"

-"One false move". That scene when the officers in the restaurant make fun of Dale Dixon while he listens to the whole thing is priceless... I still remember Paxton's face literally painted with sadness.

-Simon in "True Lies", what a pig

-"Frailty" ; was such a good father figure to his kids while accomplishing his "mission".

Your thoughts on Wild Bill?

From roles already mentioned...

Chet in Weird Science: Chet confronts Gary and Wyatt when they come home drunk. "You two donkey d***s couldn't get laid in a morgue!" Then he did that crazy laugh.

Last scene in True Lies: He's working as a waiter, but pretending he's undercover. Says to a woman something like, "If gunfire breaks out, just stay down and remain calm." Then Jamie and Arnie make him pee his pants - again!

I just watched The Terminator, so I'm gonna have to go with the scene where he's a gang member with spikey blue hair.
"Your clothes. Give them to me."
That's a classic scene.

Paxton in "Titanic." The role could have gone to anyone, but he landed it with that hair-do.

I absolutely despise Bill Paxton in every movie. But the part in Aliens "Game Over Man!" is just too funny. That part just goes to show you his true thespian abilities.

"How about a nice, greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray?"

"That's right, man, Bishop should go. Good idea!"

Aliens and Weird Science has to be the most quoted from all his movies.

Funny story about this joke. Vasquez, played by Jeanette Goldstein, when she first signed auditioned for this movie Aliens thought it was about illegal aliens so came dressed up in her illegal alien mexican scrubs to audition. I suppose Cameron liked her but this is the inspiration for this joke.

The last scene of that movie is also extremely powerful. Probably his single best performance.

...as well as countless "touch Latino chick" characters in future movies and video games. Goldstein was so convincing as Vasquez that I was incredibly shocked when I first saw Near Dark.

He had some great moments in Near Dark but I think "Game Over man" would be one of my favorites.

The bar scene in Near Dark is classic.
