Bill Macy was nominated for Golden Globes and Emmy's for his performance in this.

He does look creepy in all the makeup.

New rule: You cannot post a positive review for a movie unless you are a senior member otherwise you'll be considered a shill.

I never heard of the movie but its sounds good, cliche and predictable but good.

Must be clear when you mention Macys. William H. Macy was nominated for this roll.

Bill Macy used to do Maude.

all lower case letters, no periods, is that the way shills are taught to post to seem like the 'normal, uneducated' masses?

i gave it one star at amazon just to screw up the 5-star rating, because shilling dvdtalk sucks.

Right? This always cracks me up. I wonder if they have training sessions on how to blend in with "da peepul."

This was on tv a while back. I caught bits & pieces in between other things. The random moments I saw looked interesting--at least good enough to warrant a rental.

I guess you could say feel good movie of last year. This came out in July of 2002. Pretty much old news, I think.
