What ever happened to "Slap Her She's French"?

I think this got very limited release last year, and then just fell off the face of the earth, was it that bad?

I don't think it even got a release.

I live in Chicago, and, uh, it never even opened here. Now NYC and LA, on the other hand...

I saw the trailer for this once last year and have been waiting for it to be released in the theaters or DVD. If I remember correctly it has Piper Perabo in it.

The film was to be released in September. Piper Perabo even went on Last Call with Carson Daly to promote it the week before it came out, and then.....the company releasing it went bankrupt. It was going to be their biggest release ever and they just didn't have the money. It released overseas with different companies, but it hasn't come out in the U.S., not sure if it will ever hit theaters now.
